Non-governmental organizations (ngos) are essential as they fulfill a purpose that is traditionally addressed by a government (balteanu & marcu, 2014).

Non-governmental Organizations (NGOs) are essential as they fulfill a purpose that is traditionally addressed by a government (Balteanu & Marcu, 2014). In order for an NGO to be impactful and serve its purpose, it will require support and involvement from those it has been organized to help, as well as maintain financial and management autonomy, devoid of the governmental influence (Johnson & Stoskopf, 2010). Political and social instability has made it difficult for NGO’s to fulfill their purpose to meet the needs of the communities they have pin pointed as their focus (Balteanu & Marcu). During unrest experienced by many countries, residents who need shelter, food, and medical care, benefit from what NGO’s to provide (Balteanu & Marcu). Without the government, military, or religious backing of the NGO’s purpose, the NGO will not be able to fulfill it’s intent (Balteanu & Marcu).
Resident of unstable regions throughout the world, are without food, shelter, and medical care due to the preoccupation with control, whether through the government, military, or religious factions. The unstable governments within these regions are either unwilling or unable to care for the needs of their citizens or have taken away their ability to care for themselves. NGO’s have the ability to provide for the needs of the people and help them sustain, if allowed.
In general, what is the impact of political and social instability on non-government organizations? Support your response with a minimum of two credible or scholarly sources that were published in the last 5 years.

What are your opinions about how to energize the healthy people goals among providers and the american public?

Write a 100 worded essay response. In your response, include at least two research articles outside the book. You may search articles on PubMed or Google Sholar
Every 10 years, the public health sector creates an elaborate set of targets for health status improvements in the United States. Healthy People 2010 failed to meet 85 percent of Healthy People 2000’s goals. Healthy People 2020 includes even more goals. Is there merit to this effort or are these simply academic exercises? What are your opinions about how to energize the Healthy People goals among providers and the American public?
Describe how the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA) will change the way CMS reimburses physicians and hospitals for their services.
Highlight at least two key similarities and differences between MIPS and APMs. (You may research this topic outside web articles or published articles).
Reflect on medical education’s skewed emphasis on curative rather than preventive care- two sources but summarize them in your own words

Understanding how to create a policy will be beneficial to you and your future organization. After reading the assigned chapters this week, choose one of the following topics listed to write a one- to two-page paper in which you will create a policy for a newly renovated hospital:
Create a mandatory reporting policy for new staff members to read and acknowledge.
Create a new policy on Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) under the new Quality Payment Program (formerly known as Physician Quality Reporting System and before that, known as the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative, PQRI).
Create a new policy on the False Claims Act for incoming staff to read and acknowledge.
Note: There are resources below to help you decide. Do not rely solely on the resources provided; use your texts and other information you research.
Use APA Style. Create a cover sheet and add a reference list.

I did have one for the merck manual, which i would consider highly reliable, and for medscape, which maybe is not so scholarly, and not a journal article.

write 200 word discussion post response to the below post:
For this week’s discussion forum, I used the term “Neonatal Sepsis” on Google and on Google Scholar. Above I included just the links for the first five searches of each search engine. For my search, in both search engines, I found my results to be credible and reliable, and mostly scholarly. I felt this may have been related to the use of the word “sepsis” which is a very medical, scientific term. Both search engines gave me links to articles mostly in medical journals. I did have one for the Merck Manual, which I would consider highly reliable, and for Medscape, which maybe is not so scholarly, and not a journal article. Those two were both on the regular Google search. All the search results on Google were current, from 2018-2022. On Google Scholar the results were from as far back as 1980 and 2005, up to 2016, 2017, and 2020. Typically, when doing research, it is best to use up-to-date and current references, unless the references are seminal works. According to the University of Washington library, to understand the reliability and credibility of articles, one must look at these 5 questions: Who the author is, the purpose of the content, where the content comes from, why does the source exist for this content, and how does this source compare to other sources (2022).
Both of these searches were internet searches, but when using search engines made for everyday people, it is important to remember that these search engines do not screen the information for credibility and reliability so a person must be able to analyze the information and resources provided (Gray & Grove, 2020).

Project Guidelines for Mini Counseling Audio Session 1
This audio will be of a coaching session conducted with a person you choose focusing on a health behavior change. In this session, I will be listening for building rapport, how you ask open ended questions, and your active listening skills. This is obviously just the beginning of a session, so you can simply end the audio if you reach 5 minutes at a good stopping point. You should start off the session with some rapport building questions and small talk. You should have 3-4 open ended questions prepared that you want to know about the client, but I want you to actively listen to what the client is saying and respond appropriately, so you may not use the questions you have prepared because the client may take you in a different direction. That is okay. You are simply listening to what is going on with the client—no problem solving or goal setting yet. AND DO NOT READ A SCRIPT!
You are focusing on Helping Clients Clarify the Key Issues Calling for Change. Focus on the following: o Help clients tell their stories (keeping the overall goal of helping the client manage the interpersonal dimensions of his problem) Help clients develop new perspectives that help them reframe their stories. (help clients identify significant blind spots related to their problems— effectively challenged, blind spots yield new perspectives that help clients think more realistically about problems, opportunities, and solutions.)
Help clients achieve leverage by working on issues that make a difference. (prioritizing those issues that will have significant impact.)
Example of possible health behavior changes to talk about with a client: quit smoking, exercise more, eat healthier, add strength training, hydrate properly, decrease stress, improve sleep habits, improve relationships (socialize with supportive friends and family), take medications as prescribed, practice mindfulness or meditation, food shopping, reduce calories, manage stress, etc.
Next Steps:
This audio should be no longer than 5 minutes in length. Please upload the audio piece to the dropbox and label it with your name, date of session, and Audio Session #1
Complete the Health Counseling Observation Checklist for Audio 1.
Thoroughly listen to your audio session and complete the checklist with specific examples.
Provide verbatim examples to illustrate your comments.
Summarize strengths, weaknesses, and ways to improve at the end of the checklist.
Upload the completed checklist to the same drop box. (So you should have the actual audio AND the completed checklist in the drop box.)
